What Happens During an Emotion Code® Session?
For many people who are new to the Emotion Code®, the biggest question is simply what a session looks like.
Emotion Code sessions are typically relaxed and conversational. The goal is to create a comfortable environment where the body can begin releasing emotional energy that may no longer be needed.
At the beginning of a session, we usually talk briefly about how you have been feeling and what you would like to focus on. Some people come with a specific concern or pattern they want to explore, while others simply want to support their overall emotional well-being.
From there, the process involves using muscle testing to communicate with the subconscious mind. Muscle testing allows the body to provide yes or no responses that guide the practitioner toward identifying trapped emotions.
During my sessions, I use myself as a proxy for muscle testing while remaining connected with the client on Zoom. As emotions are identified, I communicate the findings so clients can understand what is being released during the session.
My goal during a session is to release at least five trapped emotions, though often more can be released depending on what the subconscious mind indicates is ready.
Once a trapped emotion is identified, it is released through a simple energetic process that works with the body’s governing meridian.
Many people feel lighter or calmer after sessions, while others notice gradual changes in emotional patterns or stress levels over the following days.
Each session is unique, and the body always releases what it is ready to process within the time available.
